Questions about 1986 Camaro : I just bought a 1986 camaro that was swapped from a 2.8 to a carb 355 out of a 77 vette. it has a bad vibration aroun 1500-2500 rpms almost like a dead miss, but its firing on all 8. the timing is right and the carb is adjusted so I am a little lost. the motor is a fresh rebuilld very low miles still break in period. but it idles fine and this only hapens under load (butterflies open) not on the way back down when your relese your foot from the gas. if anyone can help it would be great..

Camaro questions : I have been reading many forums trying to figure this out, but my issue is a little bit different then the others, I have a 02 Z-28 Camaro 35th anniv addition

And both of my power windows are moving VERY slow, they will go up and down, but they are moving at a very slow speed, if i try and do both of them at the same time, they almost stop completely
For a car with 50,000 miles, is it possible that both motors are going out at the same time?
Also I had to replace the alternator a few miles back, and I have noticed that the power gauge sits right above the red lines, if i turn on the ac or use a blinker the needle sits in the highest point of the red, could this be connected to my power window issue?

Camaro answers : When you replaced the alternator did you get good tension on the belt? Could cause power issues if it is loose. Also if it is the original battery and is on its way out that could be an issue. It could be as simple as a bad ground in the system(of coarse finding the bad ground is not always a simple matter).
